School Staff

The VOC’s educational and clinical staff hold an impressive record of experience and education. All teachers'  licenses from the BC College of Teachers or the Inspector of Independent Schools are current. Teachers of the deaf and hard of hearing have Masters level teaching credentials in auditory-oral deaf education. Our clinical staff hold the highest level of qualification available in their fields. Early childhood education staff hold numerous credentials including special education.


The VOC maintains an extensive and ongoing programme of professional development for all staff. Staff receive post-graduate training in specializations such as cochlear implant rehabilitation, educational assessment, learning disabilities, early childhood education, audiology, auditory-verbal therapy® and other areas.
